Losol - Stirling

Losol Gallery

The flavour of this pattern is very "Edwardian" an elegant dark grey/black transfer, with an asymmetrical border pattern depicting beautiful detailed intertwining flowers.

Two of the following three items were produced before 1912, when the LOSOL trademark came into use. The registration No 145492 dates the design to 1890+. It was also produced in green.

The inclusion of the earlier pre-Losol items in the set provides an interesting instance of continuity at the Keeling factory.

Apart from the difference in backstamp, the plates match perfectly.
