This is a very impressive large tureen with slot in lid for ladle.

The tureen base is in remarkably good condition and would make a great jardiniere - no cracks, crazing or staining, very little paint loss. 

There are a few small fleabites and pinprick blemishes around the inside rim (see photo L), and a flake on the base (see R), not visible when in use.
